1. Who We Are

Seniors Living Communities (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is a senior living matching service owned and operated by Seniors Living Communities LLC. We help families and individuals find senior living communities — including independent living, assisted living, memory care, and respite care — by collecting information about their needs and connecting them with communities that are a strong match.

2. Information We Collect

When you use our matching tool or contact form, we collect the following categories of information:

Contact information: name, email address, and mobile phone number (used for identity verification only — see Section 5)
Care and health information: the type of care needed (e.g., memory care, assisted living), current living situation, level of daily assistance required, cognitive concerns, and any relevant diagnosis information you choose to share
Financial information: your monthly budget range and payment sources (e.g., private pay, Medicaid, VA benefits, long-term care insurance)
Location preferences: the city, region, or state you are searching in
Search and usage data: pages visited, communities viewed, and actions taken on our site

We do not require you to provide medical records, diagnoses, or insurance documentation to use this service. Any care-related details you share are used solely to find the most suitable community matches.

3. How Lead Matching Works

After you go through the matching tool, we generate a profile based on your answers (your “lead”). This profile is made available to senior living communities that operate in your area and meet your stated criteria (care level, budget, location). Communities can review your anonymized profile and choose to purchase access to your contact information.

Your contact information is only shared with communities you explicitly select on the results page, or with communities you have consented to allow to contact you. We will never share your name, phone number, or email with a community unless you have granted that permission.

Up to four communities may receive a copy of your contact profile for the same lead. We do not rank or prioritize communities based on how much they pay us — results are ranked by community quality signals such as ratings and care-level fit.

4. Our Business Model

Seniors Living Communities is free to families and individuals. We earn revenue from senior living communities in two ways: a community may purchase a verified lead — meaning a real, phone-verified person who has consented to be contacted — for an upfront fee, or it may instead pay a flat-rate commission if and when a family moves in. We offer every community the same published rate card — flat rates by care type and market, based on costs of marketing and advertising — though individual agreements may be negotiated. In all cases, lead fees and commissions never influence which communities are matched to a family or the order of those matches. Paid listing plans may affect placement in directory browsing and search only — never matching — as described below.

Communities may also pay for enhanced listing profiles and promoted placement in our directory and search results. However, these paid placements have no effect on matching results — the AI-powered matches generated for families who use our matching tool are based solely on care-level fit, budget, location, and community quality signals, and are never influenced by a community’s spending.

Listings on Seniors Living Communities are compiled from a variety of sources including government licensing records, community websites, and direct submissions. Not all listings have been submitted or verified by the community they represent. While we strive for accuracy, we make no guarantees regarding the completeness or timeliness of listing data.

5. Phone Verification

We verify your mobile phone number before sharing your contact details with any community. Verification is done by sending a text message (SMS) or placing an automated call to which you reply to confirm your identity.

Your phone number is used only to:

Verify your identity before releasing your contact details to communities
Allow communities you select to follow up with you about availability and tours
Send you service messages about tours you book through us — confirmations and reminders by email or text. These are transactional, sent only during daytime hours, and you can stop texts anytime by replying STOP

We do not sell your phone number to third-party marketers, telemarketers, or data brokers. Your number will not be used for any marketing or promotional purposes by Seniors Living Communities.

6. How We Use Your Information

To match you with senior living communities that fit your needs
To verify your identity before sharing your contact details
To allow selected communities to contact you about availability and tours
To improve our matching algorithm and service quality
To analyze usage patterns and enhance user experience
To collect optional post-tour feedback and use it internally to improve our matching and to understand community quality
With your separate consent, to send you our newsletter and other marketing emails. This is always an explicit opt-in, never a condition of using the service, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us
To comply with applicable legal obligations

Post-tour feedback and reviews: After a tour, we may invite you to share feedback about your visit. Your individual answers are private by default and used internally as described above. We publish your feedback as an anonymous public review only if you separately and expressly agree — shown without your name or contact information, with only a generic initial and the month of your tour. We share your feedback with the community you toured only if you separately and expressly agree. Each permission is optional, independent of the other, and revocable at any time by contacting us — on revocation we will unpublish the review and stop further sharing.

7. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only in these limited circumstances:

With communities you select: Your contact information is shared only with the specific communities you choose on the results page, and optionally with other area communities if you grant broader consent
With service providers: We use third-party vendors (e.g., Twilio for SMS, Stripe for payments) who process data strictly on our behalf under data processing agreements
When required by law: We may disclose information in response to a valid legal request or to protect the rights and safety of our users
In a business transfer: If Seniors Living Communities is acquired or merges with another company, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction
As aggregated, de-identified statistics: We may create, use, and publish statistics derived from platform activity — such as demand by region or care category, typical search timelines, budget ranges, and tour feedback themes — only in aggregated, de-identified form that cannot reasonably be used to identify you. Small groups are suppressed before anything is shared or published, and your individual responses are never disclosed this way

8. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

Opt out of sharing: Contact us to request that your profile no longer be made available to communities — we will remove your lead from our marketplace
Access your data: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
Correct your data: Request corrections to inaccurate information
Delete your data: Request deletion of your account and associated information, subject to any legal retention requirements
Opt out of marketing: You may unsubscribe from any promotional communications at any time

9. Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect your information. Data is stored in a secure cloud database with access controls and audit logging. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain session state, analyze usage, and improve our service. We do not use cookies to serve third-party advertising. You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date above.
