Senior Living Communities (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is a senior living matching service. We help families and individuals find senior living communities — including independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing — by collecting information about their needs and connecting them with communities that are a strong match.
2. Information We Collect
When you use our matching quiz or contact form, we collect the following categories of information:
- Contact information: name, email address, and mobile phone number (used for identity verification only — see Section 5)
- Care and health information: the type of care needed (e.g., memory care, assisted living), current living situation, level of daily assistance required, cognitive concerns, and any relevant diagnosis information you choose to share
- Financial information: your monthly budget range and payment sources (e.g., private pay, Medicaid, VA benefits, long-term care insurance)
- Location preferences: the city, region, or state you are searching in
- Search and usage data: pages visited, communities viewed, and actions taken on our site
We do not require you to provide medical records, diagnoses, or insurance documentation to use this service. Any care-related details you share are used solely to find the most suitable community matches.
3. How Lead Matching Works
After you complete the matching quiz, we generate a profile based on your answers (your “lead”). This profile is made available to senior living communities that operate in your area and meet your stated criteria (care level, budget, location). Communities can review your anonymized profile and choose to purchase access to your contact information.
Your contact information is only shared with communities you explicitly select on the results page, or with communities you have consented to allow to contact you. We will never share your name, phone number, or email with a community unless you have granted that permission.
Up to four communities may receive a copy of your contact profile for the same lead. We do not rank or prioritize communities based on how much they pay us — results are ranked by community quality signals such as ratings and care-level fit.
4. Our Business Model
Senior Living Communities is free to families and individuals. We earn revenue by charging senior living communities a flat fee when they purchase a verified lead — meaning a real, phone-verified person who has consented to be contacted. We do not earn commissions on move-ins, and communities do not pay more to appear higher in results or to receive more leads.
5. Phone Verification
We verify your mobile phone number before sharing your contact details with any community. Verification is done by sending a text message (SMS) or placing an automated call to which you reply to confirm your identity.
Your phone number is used only to:
- Verify your identity before releasing your contact details to communities
- Allow communities you select to follow up with you about availability and tours
We do not sell your phone number to third-party marketers, telemarketers, or data brokers. Your number will not be used for any marketing or promotional purposes by Senior Living Communities.
6. How We Use Your Information
- To match you with senior living communities that fit your needs
- To verify your identity before sharing your contact details
- To allow selected communities to contact you about availability and tours
- To improve our matching algorithm and service quality
- To analyze usage patterns and enhance user experience
- To comply with applicable legal obligations
7. Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only in these limited circumstances:
- With communities you select: Your contact information is shared only with the specific communities you choose on the results page, and optionally with other area communities if you grant broader consent
- With service providers: We use third-party vendors (e.g., Twilio for SMS, Stripe for payments) who process data strictly on our behalf under data processing agreements
- When required by law: We may disclose information in response to a valid legal request or to protect the rights and safety of our users
- In a business transfer: If Senior Living Communities is acquired or merges with another company, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction
8. Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to:
- Opt out of sharing: Contact us to request that your profile no longer be made available to communities — we will remove your lead from our marketplace
- Access your data: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correct your data: Request corrections to inaccurate information
- Delete your data: Request deletion of your account and associated information, subject to any legal retention requirements
- Opt out of marketing: You may unsubscribe from any promotional communications at any time

9. Data Security
We use industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect your information. Data is stored in a secure cloud database with access controls and audit logging. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain session state, analyze usage, and improve our service. We do not use cookies to serve third-party advertising. You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences.
